ELKHART, Ind. – Former Dowagiac resident Kathy L. Williamson, 52, of Elkhart, died at home at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010.

Born in Watervliet to Earl and Helen (Powell) Williamson, she was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide at River Ridge Nursing Home in Niles.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, officiated by the Rev. James Pippin at Victory Tabernacle, 33440 Middle Crossing Road, Dowagiac.

There will be no visitation. Elkhart Cremation Services is assisting her family with arrangements.

Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery, Dowagiac.
