Cox nets 15 points in Holy Cross loss to St. Mary

INDIANAPOLIS – Host St. Mary of the Woods outscored Holy Cross 39-24 in the second half to pull away to a 64-51 victory in women’s college basketball Wednesday night.

Holy Cross (3-15) led 27-25 at halftime, but could not keep pace in the final 20 minutes as St. Mary improved to 4-6 on the season.

Former Niles standout Baysia Cox led Holy Cross with 15 points and eight rebounds. She also had two blocks.
