WHITE PIGEON – Tournament Most Valuable Player Josh Kozinski led Edwardsburg to a 49-37 victory over White Pigeon Tuesday night.
The win gave the Eddies (3-2) the championship of the White Pigeon Holiday Tournament.
Kozinski scored 13 points, while Nick Muir added 10 and Jake Harroff nine for the Eddies.
Kyle Dale finished with eight points.
Muir was also named to the all-tournament team.
The Eddies led 10-6 after one quarter and 21-17 at the intermission.
Edwardsburg opened up a 33-29 advantage heading into the final stanza.
Tanner Nichols had 18 points to lead the Chiefs.

Centreville Invitational
CENTREVILLE – A little extra work paid off for Cassopolis Tuesday night in the opening round of the Centreville Holiday Tournament.
The Rangers (3-3) defeated Mendon 69-61 in overtime to advance to tonight’s championship game against Battle Creek St. Philip.
Stefon Luckey scored a game-high 24 points for Cass, which also got 11 points from Nate Hartline and 10 points from Steven Eleazer.
Tommy First finished with nine points.
The Rangers and the Hornets were tied at 13-13 after the opening quarter, but Cass outscored Mendon 18-17 in the second quarter to take a 31-30 halftime advantage.
The Rangers took a 44-42 advantage to the fourth quarter.
Mendon rallied and was able to tie the score at 57 heading to overtime. Cass outscored the Hornets 12-4 in overtime.

Coldwater Holiday Tournament
COLDWATER – The Edwardsburg and Cassopolis girls’ basketball teams both were defeated in their holiday tournament openers on Tuesday.
The Eddies fell to Fremont 68-36, while the Rangers fell to White Pigeon 55-51.
Sarah D’Amico scored 11 points to lead Edwardsburg at the Coldwater Holiday Tournament.
Rachel Vite and Emily Kozinski finished with seven and six points.
At the White Pigeon Holiday Tournament, Damonica Kelly’s game-high 24 points wasn’t enough for the Rangers.
Reese Ellison added 14 for Cass.
