The Dowagiac varsity wrestling team will be in action over the holiday break as they take part in the Horeshoe Classic hosted by Comstock on Dec. 30.

Dowagiac will join the host school as well as Blissfield, Cedar Springs, Delton-Kellogg, Eau Claire, Grand Haven, Grass Lake, Lawrence, Orchard View, Petosky, Plainwell and Zeeland West.

This is an individual format tournament and wrestling is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

The tournament will be run with a 12-man bracket and each team can enter 14 wrestlers, but no more than two at in the same weight class.

Admission is $5 per person and concessions will be available throughout the day.
