Shirley Hartley, manager of the Edwardsburg Branch Library of Cass District Library, is asking residents who are in the Edwardsburg area to take the time to stop by the branch library at 26745 Church St. and see beautiful, antique quilts on display until after the first of the year. The display is the creation of local library patron Joyce Pyles and a friend.

Hartley said to be sure to check out some of the many books on sewing and how to make quilts that are available at all of the branches of the Cass District Library. She said the staff at the Edwardsburg Branch would be happy to assist patrons with their library needs.

Jerry and Nancy Stoner of Edwardsburg are ringing in the New Year with a collection of advertising icons. The new display should also prove to be a trip down memory lane for some of our patrons, she said.

Branch hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
