Ze’Kavion entered and left this world on Dec. 16, 2009, at Lakeland Hospital in Niles, the son of Tyler Nickens and Samantha Worley.

He lived a brief 39 minutes, but touched his family’s hearts forever.

His family includes: his mother, Samantha Worley of Dowagiac; his father, Tyler Nickens of Dowagiac; brother, Daishaun Worley of Dowagiac; maternal grandparents, Bobbie Worley of Dowagiac, and Sammy Worley of Florida; maternal great-grandparent Mary Lindsey of Dowagiac; paternal grandmother Lorraine Green; several aunts and uncles; and a great-uncle Gary Worley of Niles.

Ze’Kavion’s family will gather with friends on Monday from noon until 1 p.m. at Yazel and Clark Chapel, where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. led by Pastor Kevin Mitchell.
Cremation will follow the service and he will be laid to rest at a later date.
