NILES – Ellsworth H. Gemberling, 91, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at his daughter’s residence in Ocala, following an illness.

Ellsworth received an honorable discharge after serving his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, for which he got a bronze star.

In 1980, Ellsworth retired from Sibley’s Foundry after 35 years of service.

Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with a committal service following at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
