Bobby G. Whitehead, 79, entered into rest Dec. 11, 2009 at 7:11 p.m. in Silsbee, Texas.
Formerly of Niles, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 385.

He is survived by his wife, Loma A. Whitehead-Conrad of Silsbee; a daughter, Deborah K. Best of Silsbee; sons, Alvin O. Whitehead of Martinsville, Ohio, Michael R. Whitehead of Silsbee, Paul A. Whitehead of Elkhart; sister, Joan Collins of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a son, Christopher C. Whitehead of Zephyrhills, Fla.
