Shannon Lynn Larson, 47, of Elkhart and formerly of Edwardsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital from an apparent heart attack at her home that day.
Shannon was born March 9, 1962 in South Bend.
She is survived by two stepchildren, Tad Larson and Christine Larson; her ex-husband and companion for several years, Leonard L. Larson; sisters, Angela Schultz, Sandra (Jim) Artley, both of Edwardsburg, Rexetta Karacson, of Mishawaka, Cathy Wardlow and Kimerly (David) Stanton, both of Osceola; and a brother, Dean Michael (Marge) Wardlow, of Niles.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 W. Main, Edwardsburg.
Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call one hour before the service.
