The winter weather advisory issued for much of southwest Michigan and northern Indiana has been canceled, though the forecast continue to call for a wintry mix of sleet, snow and rain over the next 24 hours.

A wind advisory remains in effect from 10 a.m. on Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday.

The forecast for Tuesday calls for rain, snow and possibly sleet in the afternoon and a high of 33 degrees. The snow and sleet mix is expected to continue into Tuesday night and rain is expected Wednesday morning — with high winds blowing snow in some areas Wednesday afternoon.
