The Dowagiac Middle School seventh grade Black team was defeated by St. Joe Upton on Monday 36-24.

Thomas Walterhouse led the Chieftains with 11 points, while Jeremiah Guernsey added six and Conner Howard three.

Josh Proctor and Cody Payne each scored two points.

The Orange team was defeated by St. Joe 27-23.

Dontae Murphy scored seven points, Tyler Collins six, Anthony Burling five, while Devin Brown, Matt Smith and Trenton Lesniak each scored two points.
