Mary Jane’s life began on May 29, 1923, in Syracuse, N.Y., the daughter of William and Martha Peck.

Mary Jane, 86, of Dowagiac, married Robert “Bob” Meuleman on June 30, 1950, in Syracuse.

Her loving family includes: her children, Ann Jendryk of Wheaton, Ill., Dr. Thomas (Jan) Meuleman, M.D., of Park City, Utah, and Dr. John (Sophia) Meuleman, M.D., of Gainesville, Fla.; her daughter-in-law, Ann Meuleman of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, Lindsey and Laura  Meuleman of San Diego, Calif., and Emma Meuleman of Gainesville.

Mary Jane passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her sons Daniel and David Meuleman.
Mary Jane’s family will gather for services at Sacred Heart of Mary Church on Monday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. led by Deacon Frank Wesolowski.

Mary Jane will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.
