Mike and Fran Kidman of Cassopolis are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin, to Rob Nobel of Berkhout, Netherlands.

Erin is the granddaughter of Janet Kidman, also of Cassopolis.

Rob is the son of Cor and Gerda Nobel of Westwoud, Netherlands.

Erin graduated from Dowagiac Union High School and from Western Michigan University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and elementary education.
Erin also earned a master’s degree at WMU in Spanish literature and linguistics.

She is employed by Kalamazoo Public Schools as a middle school Spanish teacher.
Rob graduated from Van Hall Institute in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, with a bachelor’s degree in animal science.

He is a dairy farmer in Marshall, where the couple reside.

An April 3, 2010, wedding is planned to take place in Kalamazoo.
