Betty Jean and Edward Joseph Flick, of 122 Parkway in Niles, Mich., are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Edward and Betty Jean Weiser married Nov. 14, 1959 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Niles. They have five children: Judi (Gary) Lunger, of Forney, Texas, Brian, of Niles, Martha (Todd) Jungenberg, of Chicago, Shelly (Gary) Hegland, of South Bend, and Missy (Jeff) Hatch, of Dowagiac; and nine grandchildren: Alex, Andrew and Autumn Flick, Taylor Lunger, Sophia, Grace and Emmalee Jungenberg, and Sydney Hatch and Jack Hegland.
Ed retired in 1997 as a control chemist after 42 years at National Standard and has been with Signal Point Golf Course for 12 years. Betty retired in 1989 as a medical records coder for Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Betty and Ed celebrated their 50th by renewing their vows in the annual Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass at St. John Brebeuf Church in Niles, Ill., followed by a reception dinner with family and friends at their daughter’s home in Bridgeport, Ill.
