NILES – Thomas Williamson, 62, of Niles, passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, after a short illness, with his family by his side.

After one year at IUSB, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served four years.
Tom owned Tom’s Portage Marathon in South Bend, Ind., for 14 years.

In keeping with Tom’s wishes, he has been cremated.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Brown Funeral Home to honor Tom’s memory from 4 to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to Pet Refuge, 2300 W. 6th St., Mishawaka, IN 46544.
