The Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to a personal injury crash on M-51 near Wells Street in Pokagon Township, Cass County at 11:03 a.m. Monday.

Jared Smith, 35, of Dowagiac, was north bound on M -51 when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Dara Killarney, 23, of Dowagiac. She was transported to Lakeland Hospital in Niles with injuries.

Smith was uninjured.

Pokagon Township Fire Department and SMCAS ambulance service assisted at the scene.
