A new record was established on Thursday morning for the Niles-Buchanan Thanksgiving Day Run sponsored by 1st Source Bank.

Over 1,750 runners and walkers took park, as well as another 55 Fun Run participants.
Katie Fenstermaker of South Bend, Ind. was the overall 10K women’s winners, while Michael Padgett of Mishawaka, Ind. caputred the men’s 10K event.

Winning the 5K run were Katherine Manion of South Bend and Terry Feldbaum, also of South Bend.
