The Edwardsburg junior varsity football team recently ended its season with a perfect 8-0 record.

The JV team outscored its opponents 361-124 with the closest game being against Berrien Springs, which the Eddies defeated by 18 points.

Edwardsburg had wins over Hopkins, White Pigeon, Cassopolis, Brandywine, Coloma, Bronson, Buchanan and Berrien Springs.

The Eddies were led by sophomores Ethan Zimmerman and Dominic Razzano (both played JV and varsity), Jesse Mays, Austin Meadows, Tyler Hack, Greg Hall, Austin Tevlin, Matt North, Jay Williams, Gary Tadlock, Matt Hiland, Zach Glass and Brett Stahler.

Freshmen Zayne Guernsey, Michael Kempton, David Keifer and Joe Carter also were an integral part of the team’s success this season.

The players would like to thank the coaches for their help and guidance along with all the parents who supported them this season.
