Ann James, of Dorr, Mich., and James Bingham, of Escanaba, Mich., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The couple will be married July 24, 2010 in South Bend.

The bride’s parents are Katherine and Paul James, of Dorr. The groom’s parents are Gisele and Stacy Bingham, of Escanaba.

Ann’s maternal grandparents are Bernice and David Hanrahan, of Grand Rapids. Her paternal grandparents are Jessie and George James, of Grandville, Mich.

James’ maternal grandparents are Ruth and Jesse Bingham, of Nahama, Mich. His paternal grandparents are Jen and Irvin Thennes, of Gladstone, Mich.

The bride attended Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids; Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.; and Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo.

The groom attended Escanaba Area Public High School and Bay College in Escanaba.
