One lucky winner who renews for the 2010 season at MIS will win a trip for two to the NASCAR Sprint Cup awards ceremony in Michigan International Speedway’s Race to Vegas contest.

The trip includes a three-day/two-night trip for two to Las Vegas from Dec. 3-5. The prize includes round-trip coach airfare and hotel accommodations at the famed Wynn Hotel, and a seat at Michigan International Speedway’s table at the banquet.

The Sprint Cup Awards Ceremony, a tradition held in New York City for decades, is moving to Las Vegas for the first time.

The banquet-style event honors the top-12 drivers who made NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup. The event is typically reserved for top dignitaries of NASCAR, race tracks, race teams and their sponsors.

“Fans have never typically been invited to this event, which makes this contest even more exciting for me,” Curtis said. “We truly care about our race fans at MIS and if we can reward them with a trip to the awards ceremony, I’m more than happy to have them join me to celebrate NASCAR’s championship.”
