NILES – Roy Walter Johanson, 81, of Baroda, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at his home after an extended illness.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during two different World War II enlistments.

Upon returning from his second enlistment he worked in the Chicago area as a design engineer until his retirement at age 62.

In accordance with Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Niles.
