Brandywine Invitational today

The 39th Annual Brandywine Cross Country Invitational will be held today beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The girls’ race will be held at 10:30 with the boys’ race to follow at 11:15 and the junior high/open race scheduled for noon.

There will be just one division this year and varsity and reserve runners will compete at the same time.

West Bloomfield is the defending boys’ and girls’ team champions.

Bloomington’s Joe Sapp won the boys’ individual title last year, while Christina Capriccioso of West Bloomfield captured the girls’ race.

Also competing besides the defending champions will be Bronson, Constantine and Marcellus.

Admission is $2 per vehicle.
