Niles schools remind public of school closing procedure

Niles schools are reminding the public about school closing and delay procedure in the case of inclement weather.

As the weather changes with the seasons, Niles Community Schools reminds parents that parents and guardians will be notified through the districts new Instant Alert System of school closings or delays.  Parents, guardians and students can also get information on weather related issues through the following media:

Brandywine Community Schools
During the winter months, it may become necessary to delay or cancel school due to bad weather.

Brandywine school district residents are encouraged to listen to one of the local radio or television stations to learn if classes for Brandywine Community Schools may be delayed or canceled due to bad weather.

The decision to delay or cancel classes is usually made by 6:30 a.m. Please listen to one of the stations listed below and do not call an administrator or the school, as it ties up phone lines needed to notify authorities.
