Thelma Josephine Graham / 1917-2009

Thelma Josephine Graham, age 91, of Three Rivers, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, following a short illness.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, at the Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers, with Dr. Dan Gelatt officiating.

She was born on Nov. 25, 1917 in LaPorte, Ind., the daughter of Frank and Cornelia (Allen) Oosterveer.

She has been a long time resident of this area. She taught elementary education in the Niles school system for over 35 years before retiring. She and her husband Douglas, whom were married on June 30, 1943 moved to Three Rivers upon her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family, husband, Douglas, of Three Rivers; two daughters, Marcia (Ronald) Smith, of Wabash, Ind., and Mary (Larry) Burr, of Vicksburg; two sons, Neil (Linda) Graham, of Mesa, Ariz., and Perry (Patricia) Graham, of Niles; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
