Don and Sharon (Belanger) Rohdy of 1491 N. Betsie River Road, Interlochen, will celebrate their golden 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 24.

Mrs. Rohdy worked for 18 years at Sundstrand in Dowagiac and retired from Munson Hospital in Traverse City.

Mr. Rohdy put in 36 1/2 years at Contech-SPX and was with Silver Creek Township police for 22 years.

They are the parents of Craig and Cindy Rohdy of Dowagiac, Merrie and Eric Sell of Applegate, and Tracie Anderson of Niles.

The couple have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, the Rohdys will be renewing their vows at St. Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City, followed by a family dinner.

Both grew up in Traverse City before moving to Dowagiac, where they spent 36 years. They returned to the Traverse City area in 1996.
