The Brandywine boys’ cross country team tied with visiting Coloma Monday afternoon in a Lakeland Conference meet.

Due to the fact that both teams did not have enough runners to field a full squad, modified scoring was used.

The Bobcats and Comets ended up in a 23-23 deadlock.

The Coloma girls’ team defeated a short-handed Coloma squad 16-40.

Coloma’s Gary Hess was the winner of the boys’ race with a time of 21:28.

The Bobcats’ Aaron Sieting was second with a clocking of 21:29. Colin Mattiford finished third with a time of 22:24.

Coloma’s Monica Harris was first across the line in the girls’ race with a time of 23:10.

Katelynn Delgos was the top Lady Bobcat finsher with a time of 25:04. Kelci Lockwood and Alex Salisbury ran times of 27:17 and 32:34 respectively.
