The Niles volleyball team will take on Portage Central in the opening round of the Class A District Volleyball Tournament at Kalamazoo Central.

The Lady Vikings and Lady Mustangs will play the opening game of a tripleheader on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.

Benton Harbor will face Mattawan in the second match at 6:30 p.m., while the host Lady Maroon Giants will take on rival Kalamazoo Loy Norrix in the final match at 8 p.m.
The winners advance to Thursday’s (Nov. 5) semifinals.

Portage Northern, which received a first round bye, will face the Niles-Portage Central winner in the first match at 5 p.m.

The winners of the other two first round matches will square off at 7:30 p.m.

The championship match will be held on Satuday, Nov. 7 at noon.
