GOWEN – It was no match at the Division 2 Golf Regional Tournament on Thursday at The Links of Bowen as Muskegon Mona Shores cruised to victory.

Muskegon shot 338 to capture the regional title by 14 strokes over host Greenville, which shot 352.

Muskegon Reeths Puffer also qualified with its third place finish after shooting 389.
Niles finished sixth with a score of 409.

Mona Shores freshman Hailey Hrynewich earned medalist honors with a fine round of 79. Teammates Brooke Adamczak and Morgan Smith, a senior and a freshman respectively, finished second at 82.

Lena Cramer led the Lady Vikings with a score of 98.

Jordan Brown shot a 102, Alison Landgraf 104, Sophie Nielsen 105 and Sarah Crabtree 110.
