GRAND RAPIDS – Kalamazoo Hackett captured the Division 4 Regional Golf Tournament championship on Thursday with ease.

The Lady Irish posted a team total of 389 to best runner-up Grand Rapids West Catholic by 55 strokes.

West Catholic (444) and host Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian both qualified along with Hackett. NorthPointe shot a 447.

Dowagiac finished well back in the pack with a 540.

NorthPointe’s Erin DeVries captured medalist honors with an 18-hole total of 88.

Aya Johnson of Muskegon Catholic Central was second with a 92.

Dowagiac was led by Cassie Stone’s 119. Lauren Smith finished with a 135 and Shannon Keene a 136.

Maggie Cripe shot 150 for the Chieftains.
