The seventh and eighth grade Ring Lardner volleyball teams played St. Joe this past Thursday.

The seventh grade Gold team defeated St. Joe in all three sets, 25-18, 25-17 and 15-10, respectively.

Coach Jean Storm was happy with her team’s serving, hitting and team passing.

The seventh grade Blue team defeated St. Joe in two out of three sets.

The Jr. Vikes took the first set 25-13. Niles fought hard and came back to tighten the second set before being edged by St. Joe 21-25.

The Blue squad showed its passion for the game and encouraged each other through the third set as they trailed early before intensifying their efforts for a 15-9 victory.

The seventh Blue improved its record to 6-0 (17-1) overall.

Coach Nic Hawley was happy with his team’s effort and passion during the contest.

The eighth grade Blue team defeated St. Joe in two out of three sets.  No scores were available.
