Clayton S. Smith, 89, of Galien, died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Silverbrook Manor, Niles.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, with the Rev. Thomas Brazinsky, of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glendora, officiating.

Burial will be in Galien Cemetery.

Friends may call on Fridy, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Galien American Legion Post No. 344.
