Ava Lynae Perry, 7 months, of Hickory Street, Niles, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at Mott Children’s Hospital, Ann Arbor.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the graveside in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles, with Pastor Tonnie Blackamore of Kingdom Covenant, Dowagiac, officiating.

There will be no public visitation.

She was born on Feb. 22, 2009, in Niles, to Anthony Dwane Perry and April Lynette Evans and had lived in Niles with her parents most of her life.

She was a happy baby, she loved to smile and ply patty-cake. She also enjoyed singing and kisses.

Surviving family includes her parents, Anthony Dwane Perry and April Lynette Evans of Niles; two brothers, Brandon Peterson and Darrion Peterson, both at home; grandparents, Deborah and Haskel Woodard of Dowagiac and Linda and Fred Treadwell of Niles; great-grandparents, Betty Perry of Niles, Edna Croom of Niles and Matt Croom of Berrien Center; great-great-grandmothers, Edith Evans of Chicago, Ill. and Emma Davis of Louisville, Ark. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements were by Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
