Quentin E. Thornton, Sr., 88, of Pelham, N. C. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at 10:42 a.m. at his residence.

Funeral services were conducted Sept. 23 in North Carolina.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. at The Old Rugged Cross Church in Pokagon, conducted by the pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Buchanan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pokagon United Methodist Church.
