Brandywine girls finish 13th at Jackson meet

JACKSON – The Brandywine girls’ cross country team finished 13th at the very tough Jackson Invitational on Saturday.

Hanover-Horton was the overall winner.

Carlie Newman placed 58th to lead the Lady Bobcats. She posted a time of 24:24.
Katelynn Delgos was 63rd (24:57), Jessica Meranchel 68th (25:06), Kelci Lockwood 69th (25:07), Nicole Newman 85th (27:48) and Nicole Taylor 91st (29:42).

The Brandywine boys’ team did not have enough runners to post a team score.
Ryan Probst finished 63rd with a time of 19:56.

Colin Marquardt was 92nd (26:51) and David Schoenleber 93rd (29:13).
