Jim and Arlene Warren of Niles, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday, Sept 19. They were married in 1959 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buchanan.

Jim is an accountant, and office systems manager. Arlene is an office manager. They celebrated their anniversary earlier with a family week at Bright Lake near Traverse City.
The 13 family members boated, swam, biked, hiked, fished, golfed and enjoyed the northern Michigan scenery. They included sons, Randy (Kari) of Chicago and Dean (Ginger) of Orlando, Fla.;  daughters, Tara (Kim) Lahti of Chicago and Laurene (Tim) Grunwald of Nunica and three grandchildren, Taylor Warren, McKenna Lahti and Matthew Warren.
