Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Friday at approximately 12:20 p.m. at a residence in the 30000 block of U.S.-12 in Milton Township.

Upon execution of the search warrant, detectives located more than 4.5 pounds of suspected marijuana, with a street value of approximately $4,500.

Also located during the search was more than $4,000 in cash.

A male subject was arrested at the scene, and lodged at the Cass County Jail for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. This subject’s name will be released upon arraignment.

This matter in still under investigation. Detectives may be requesting more charges at a later date.
