The Brandywine soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to visiting Coloma Monday night in a Lakeland Conference match.

Michael Harper scored the lone goal for the Bobcats off an assist from Jordan Hatch.

“The score to this game is deceiving,” Brandywine coach Jim McNamara said. “We had so many great scoring opportunities. Some times the bounces just don’t go your way.

“I am proud of the way the kids have continued to work and not gotten down on each other. The scores aren’t always indicative of our improvement and effort,” he added.

On Saturday, Brandywine dropped a 6-2 decision to Bangor.

“We struggled in the first half and went down 5-1,” McNamara said. “The second half we probably played our best soccer of the year.”

Matt Liebetrau had both goals for the Bobcats.
