The Dowagiac varsity volleyball team was swept by visiting Vicksburg Thursday night in Wolverine Conference play, 3-0

The Chieftains are now 0-2 in league play.

“We changed our lineup this past week and had a lot of people playing where they are not use to playing,” Dowagiac coach Ryan Frontczak said. “That is no excuse though, we should be able to step up and play where we are needed.

“It is time for our team to step up and play the way they are capable of playing. We are struggling right now to find our offense and we need a team effort to do that. We are stuck in freeball mode and you can't do that in this conference and win. I think we are all disappointed with tonight’s game and we have a lot to work on,” he added.
