Bruce R. Lahti, 60, of Baldwin Drive, Niles, died at 10:12 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind.

A memorial service will be held at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Trinity Episcopal Church of Niles.

Friends may call at the church from 12:30 until the time of the service.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1948, in Ann Arbor.

He was in the printing industry, working as a pressman, including for the Niles Daily Star.

On Oct. 10, 1970, in Marquette, he married Diane Horak, who survives.

Additional surviving family include two sons, Chris (Becky) Lahti of Niles and Todd (Christy) Lahti of Niles; a daughter, Lori (Ed Herrman) Lahti of Niles; and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Meghan. Madisyn, Jordan, Elizabeth, Todd Jr. and Lindsey, and his dog, Apollo.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
