Albion College head men’s soccer coach Jerry Block has announced the 20 scholar-athletes who will begin the season on the Britons’ varsity roster.

Mat Peters is a junior defender.

Peters is the son of Michael Peters of Niles and Denise Peters of Niles and a graduate of Niles High School.

Albion will open the season Labor Day weekend with matches against a pair of teams from the state of Ohio (Heidelberg College and Oberlin College). The Britons’ home opener is set for Sept. 8 when they square off against Manchester College of Indiana.

Albion’s first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest is a Sept. 23 home date against Trine University.
