AUSTIN, Texas – Beloved husband, father, brother, and friend Paul Michael Hanlon, 50, of Niles, passed away on Sept. 1, 2009 in Austin, Texas.

Paul’s family will received guests from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held immediately after at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Niles.

Paul was born in St. Louis, Mo. to Paul Fredrick and Ella Jo Chmiel Hanlon on Oct.25, 1958.

He graduated from Niles Sr. High School in 1977, completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business at Western Michigan and earned his CPA certification in 1981.

Paul married the love of his life and childhood sweetheart Anna Mazzotta on June 5, 1982 in Niles.

He worked as a chief financial officer for Colinas Healthcare and Century Care for 18 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Josephine Hanlon.

Surviving family includes his wife, Anna Hanlon and son, David; sisters, Jane (Dale) Brems, Petra (Bob) Stead, Anne (Charles) Jarrett; brother, Thomas (Therese) Hanlon; 12 nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces.

Arrangements were by Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.
