The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Friday, Aug. 28, in the morning hours, detectives executed a search warrant in the 68000 block of Hess Road in Ontwa Township.

CCDET detectives were assisted at the scene by the Ontwa Township Police Department.
During the investigation detectives located suspected marijuana and marijuana growing equipment.

Detectives also removed scales and other items suspected to be related to the illegal sale and manufacture of marijuana.

CCDET investigators located some items that they learned were stolen property.
One adult male subject was taken into custody for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a drug house and possession of stolen property.

The adult subject was lodged at the Cass County Jail for these offenses. This matter remains under investigation.
