OTSEGO – The Dowagiac varsity golf team finished last at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree on Wednesday at Prairiewood Golf Course.

Vicksburg continues to show the way, edging host Otsego by a stroke, 195-196.

Plainwell was third at 206, while Gull Lake finished fourth at 208 and Paw Paw fifth with a 215.

Three Rivers (219), Comstock (220), South Haven (235), Allegan (238) and Dowagiac (243) rounded out the order of finish.

Brittany Haight of Otsego picked up her second consecutive medalist finish after shooting a 42.

Dowagiac was led by Cassie Stone’s 54. Haley Smith shot a 58 and Shannon Keene carded a 64. Maggie Cripe shot 67.

The Chieftains’ Lauren Smith was disqualified.
