Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Tuesday, Sept. 1, a search warrant was executed in the 400 block of E. Railroad Street in the City of Dowagiac.

Detectives located suspected marijuana, scales and other evidence suspected to be related to the sale of marijuana.

One adult male subject was arrested at the scene for possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug house and possession of marijuana.

The subject was lodged at the Cass County Jail.

This matter remains under investigation and a referral was made to the Michigan Department of Human Services regarding the incident.
