Dowagiac’s Parsons 2-1 at Marian tournament

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Dowagiac varsity tennis team competed in the Marian Tournament on Saturday.

Just one player, Bo Parsons, came away with a winning record at the tournament.
Parsons went 2-1 on the day at No. 2 singles, defeating opponents from South Bend St. Joseph and South Bend Clay.

Mike McClenahan went 1-1 on the day at No. 4 singles, falling to St. Joseph and defeating Marian.

Chris Craft and Amarpal Sarao were both 0-2 at No. 1 and No. 3 singles respectively.

In doubles action, Jon Robinson and Dylan Chorba were 1-2 at the No. 1 flight. They defeated Elkhart Central for their lone victory.

Spencer Dodd and Marc Tyrakowski were 0-2 on the day at No. 2 doubles, while Ben Thompson and John Brosnan were 0-1.

Dowagiac is back in action today as they play at Vicksburg.
