Brandywine netters fall to Vicksburg 7-1

VICKSBURG – Tyler Weeks and Cody Udell came away with Brandywine’s lone victory Monday afternoon against host Vicksburg.

The Bulldogs swept the singles flights en route to a 7-1 victory over the Bobcats.

Weeks and Udell defeated Evan Epstien and Jake Cipriano 2-6, 6-4 and 7-6(1) at No. 1 doubles.

“I was real happy with Tyler and Cody they came back and really played great tennis the last two sets,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “They are gelling nicely. We would have liked to have won more matches, but overall I was and have been happy with the effort and the progression so far this season.”
