DUHS netter drop pair at Three Rivers

THREE RIVERS – The Dowagiac tennis team dropped a pair of matches at the Three Rivers Quad on Wednesday afternoon.

The Chieftains fell to host Three Rivers 7-1 and also lost to Edwardsburg 5-3.

Picking up a pair of wins on the day were the No. 1 doubles team of Mike McClenahan and Aaron Blaske.

The duo was the lone winner against the Wildcats at they defeated Mark Graham and Scott Herndon 6-3 and 7-6(3).

Against Edwardsburg McClenahan and Blaske defeated Eric Stoneburner and Tanner Woods 6-4, 7-6(5).

Also picking up wins against the Eddies were Bo Parsons at No. 2 singles and Amarpal Sarao at No. 4 singles.

Parsons defeated Andrew Reynolds 6-1 and 6-2, while Sarao was leading Anthony Dopps 3-1 when the match was stopped by rain.
