Bucks sweep doubles flights to win own quad event

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Buchanan varsity tennis team captured its own Buchanan Quad II Tournament championship on Wednesday, doubling up second place Brandywine.

The Bucks finished with 24 points, while Brandywine had 12 points. Coloma took third with eight points and Bronson fourth with four points.

Winning flight championships for the Bucks were Tyler Lindorf and Tanner Lindorf at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively, along with Derek Blank at No. 4 singles.

Doubles champions for the Bucks were Ryan Henckel and Josh Whitfield, 2. John Haslock and Jake Welsh. Corey Thompson and Alex Kuhn, along with John Backus and Agape Mpamira.
