Bethany A. Roe and Christopher A. Gessinger, both of Niles, were married on May 16, 2009, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Niles. Pastor Edward Slate officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jeffrey Roe.

The bride graduated from Watervliet High School and is employed at Chemical Bank in Niles.

She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Roe Hartford.

The groom graduated from Niles High School, and from Central Michigan University, and is employed at DC Cook Nuclear Plant Bridgman.

He is the son of Chris and Gwen Gessinger of Niles.
