Dowagiac City Council Monday night awarded an $18,662.50 contract to Scodeller Construction for crack sealing at Municipal Airport.

Two bids were received, with Scodeller submitting the low bid.

City Manager Kevin Anderson said funding for the project comes from surplus grant revenues from the snow equipment building construction project.

Bids were reviewed by the city’s consulting engineer and Gary Carlile. Both recommended the award to the low bidder.
